  • Novak Djokovic of Servia won his first title of Indian Wells ATP Masters tournament in 2014 by defeating Roger Federer in the final match.
  • Serena Williams of USA won her 7th Miami WTA title 2014 by defeating Li Na of China.
  • Lewis Hamilton won the Malaysian Grand Prix title 2014.
  • Heena Sidhu of India has won the women’s air pistol Silver in the shooting World Cup 2014 in USA.
  • Novac Djokovic won his 4th Miami Masters title 2014 by defeating World No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the final.
  • The International association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) has rectified the Gold medal for long-jumper Anju Bobby George at the IAAF World Athletics Final in Monte Carlo in 2005. With this, Anju became the first Indian Athlete to win Gold medal in the World Athletics Final.
  • Australia won the women’s World Tweenty20 in Dhaka by defeating England in final. They won this tournament for the 3rd consecutive time.
  • Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been named the captain of the 2014 ICC World Team of the Tournament.
  • India’s Heena Sidhu has clinched the World’s No. 1 spot in 10 meters air pistol event in the ranking released by International Shooting Sports Federation. She has become the 1st Indian pistol shooter to be ranked at the top position in the list.
  • India draws with Serbia for the Davis Cup World Group play-off which will be held in India in September, 2014.

  • Animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi and McCann World Group India CEO have been presented the prestigious IAA Olive Crown Awards.
  • Physicist Rajesh Gopakumar has been selected for the 23rd G.D. Birla Award for scientific research for the year 2013.

  • Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, has announced that the INSAT-3E, after 10 years in orbit has been decommissioned.
  • An Israeli start-up has developed a new smartphone battery that can recharge in less than 30 seconds.
  • The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully raised the orbit of its navigation satellite, the IRNSS-1B, by firing the propulsion system on board the satellite for 7 minutes and a half from 5.35 p.m.
  • A team of Stanford scientists have invented a foldable and disposable microscope, priced at 1 dollar, which is versatile enough to screen for a range of diseases on field, including malaria.
  • British scientists has discovered cancer cells in a 3000-year old skeleton in Sudan, making it the oldest sample of metastatic cancer in human ever discovered.

    1. As you didn't appear for SBI PO exam before, you should write '0' (zero) in that box.

      Today is not the last date of online exam. The last date is 25.04.2014.
