Notification for preference of banks after IBPS clerk-II combined result

IBPS has published a notification regarding order of preference of banks after IBPS clerk-II combined result. Candidates, successful in both online test and common interview, are required to submit their order of preference of participating banks/organizations under IBPS in which they want to get jobs. This recruitment procedure will be quite same as was for IBPS PO/MT-II recruitment. We have written in one of the articles on what after IBPS clerk-II interview result.




The registration for order of preference has not been started yet. Successful candidates will be communicated regarding this via email/sms. IBPS has released the state-wise and category-wise vacancy details for IBPS clerk-II recruitment. To view the vacancy details and notification, visit here.


Important points regarding IBPS clerk-II preference of allotment:

  • Candidates will get provisional allotment based on the performance in both online test and interview.
  • One successful candidate will be allotted only one of the participating banks.
  • If vacancies remaining unfilled, those will be allotted from the remaining candidates. In such case, a waitlist will be made from where unfilled vacancies will be filled.
  • Any request for changing allotment by the candidates will not be accepted.
  • IBPS has soul right to cancel, re-allot bankwise allocation at anytime.
